Rated 94 -- Classic Mazis nose of mostly red fruits cut with pungent game, fur and that unmistakable sauvage character followed by big, robust, chiseled, powerfully built, rich flavors and terrific length. Mazis can sometimes be a bit rustic but the tannins here are sophisticated and perfectly integrated though the sheer depth of extract certainly contributes to this impression.
