The 06 is explosive and ripe, the 2007 is like the '04 was, fibrous and chewy and marinated with flavor; it has its own kind of power, not as sumptuous as '06 (or 2005) but just as long, not as enveloping but more solid, more old-world; it's not ungiving, it's just starched.
